We just spent two days with Claire diving Playa del Carmen and Cozumel. Claire helped us with getting open water certified. She was patient helpful and made the experience wonderful. Anyone looking for a great dive guide or Instructor I would highly recommend Absolute Adventure

Honestly, all I can say that a private tour is so worth it! Highly recommend private tours with Claire and Manuel. Worth every penny. You get the one on one attention and you don’t deal with strangers in your tour, you are comfortable and they go at your speed not by time. Our first (original) tour consisted of Chichen Itza + Valladolid + Coba. Our guide, Claire, was awesome. Not only did she hire the perfect guide for the Chichen but she also added more information that she knew. She made sure we had all the details and background info on the areas we visited. She even climb the pyramid at Coba with us. We were so impress with her that we booked a last minute tour with her on the same trip. We decided to do Tulum/Snorkeling in cenotes and with turtles. This time Manuel was our guide. Perfect for this as well. I am a big chicken to be in the sea & he made sure I was comfortable. Not only did he show us a good time but went out of his way to take pictures & videos for us. We have the perfect background on pictures of me & my husband because of him. We can’t thank both of them enough for the awesome experience and memories. They are now helping us plan tours for this summer with our kids (5 to be exact).

We chose this small adventure and touring company based on great Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. From our first email Claire was prompt and enthusiastic in suggesting a custom group of activities just for us, who are 3 adults who have been to Mexico several times. It was perfect! From pickup in a spacious van at our hotel to background history along the way, we felt so much more relaxed being able to get to the ruins, in our case Coba, before all the crowds. We loved the tourguide Claire arranged there to give us a real idea of how it was when the Mayans lived there. Climbing the temple was awesome w/Claire right there to encourage us. The 2 cenotes we visited afterwards were just spectacular! Less visited and so more serene and personal an experience, so in contrast to last year's group tour w/hoards of people. Casa Cenote and the incredible underground cave Cenote, Pet Cemetery, are not to be missed! Claire provided us with very good life vests and snorkel gear so our extensive tour of these cenotes was very safe and effortless. Can't say enough that about Claire as a guide and companion for a long day, one that included a delicious lunch in the jungle my chef son thought the best of our trip and we stayed at a 5 star resort. We very enthusiastically recommend Absolute Adventures Playa Del Carmen and can't wait to use them next time we come. We also found this custom and personalized tour far preferable to the group tours the hotel had recommended in years past and nearly the same price. You will be very happy using this special company!

From our first contact with Absolute Adventure everything was great. Claire was very good at answering all my questions. This was not our first tour experience in Mexico, and Absolute Adventure is one of the best we have used, and I will use them again when we go back.

I booked a private 2 cenotes tour for our family of four. My wife, who doesn't like to snorkel, and our two kids (11) & (9) (who had never snorkeled before) had an awesome experience. Manuel and Claire were our two guides; both great people who were knowledgeable, friendly, and made our trip a memorable one. If your looking for something different while on vacation check out Absolute Adventures, not only was it a great experience for our family but I would highly recommend this tour or any tour they offer. Our next trip to Mexico will involve a return trip with these guys.

We had a blast with Absolute Adventure. This is a first-rate company. We chose to snorkel with the sea turtles at Akumal, then go inland to snorkel in a cenote. When I told them beforehand that we had already snorkeled at another large, popular cenote, they said they would take us to one that was less crowded and very interesting, and they did. It was amazing. All of our pre-arrival communication was clear and accurate. Also, they provide wetsuits, which makes a huge difference in the overall experience. The tour culminated at an open-air restaurant in the jungle, where we enjoyed local food and cold drinks. Perfect. Chris and Manuel were friendly, professional, informative and great fun to spend the day with. Next time we will try the zipline and ATV adventure!!

We used Absolute Adventure Mexico for a dive trip to Cozumel and a private tour to Tulum Mayan Ruin the next day. We didn't have to do a thing! She done everything! Which was perfect for we were only in town for 3 days! We will definitely use her from now on! They will not disappoint you!

My group (6 total)and I chose the private tour of Ziplining, ATV riding, and Cenote swimming. For the price we paid it was such a great experience I'm actually surprised it wasn't more money because it was the highlight of our trip. We started with Ziplining and even though I, and others in my group, were terrified of heights our guide Manuel put us at ease and made the experience so much fun. The second activity was the ATV's. Riding through the jungle was so fun and muddy and we laughed the entire time. Lastly, we went swimming in the cenotes which was the perfect way to cool off and see caves and learn about the jungle. Afterwards we got a great meal and beer. Also, Claire made setting everything up so easy with her punctuality and help whenever a potential issue arose, I'm really grateful to have had her to communicate with.

Claire and our guide was amazing they pick us up right on time, so we could get to the ruins early. We beat all the tourist and basically has a private tour, they even took pictures for us. They stay with us the whole time making us feel very comfortable and safe. The experience included lunch and it was the best food we had in Mexico. I would recommend you look nowhere else but here if your thinking about taking a tour.

We did this Atv and Zip line tour with our three daughters aged 20, 21 and 23. It was so much fun and nothing better than having your own personal guide. Our daughter was so afraid to do the first zip line (she suffers from panic attacks). Chris was amazing and calmed her down by letting her go on the first one together with him. From there she was able to do the remaining 6 on her own. Claire, his business partner was very prompt to answer all my questions by email ahead of time and stayed in contact right up to the day of our adventure. We were also thrilled to receive the amazing photos that Chris captured which were all included! We will definitely book another tour with them if ever we have a chance to go back! Thank you Chris and Claire for your exceptional service and for the memories to last a lifetime!

Our family took an ATV, Zipline and Cenote tour a week ago. Our tour guide was Chris and we had a BLAST! I would highly recommend this company and specifically this tour to everyone. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel to the minute we were dropped off, it was a non-stop adventure. Chris was patient and took amazing pictures of all of us. It was so much fun looking at the pictures and reliving every moment. I hope we can make it back for another fun-filled, incredible adventure 🙂

We had the distinct pleasure of spending two days on excursions with Absolute Adventure Mexico. The professionalism and knowledge demonstrated by Clarie and Manuel throughout our treks were beyond expectations. They planned our schedule so we could beat the crowds at all the venues. At both Tulum and Coba, they had enlisted certified archeologists to guide us through the ruins. Additionally, they always took time to answer any additional questions we might have. We snorkelled through two very different cenotes and swam with sea turtles. The equipment provided by Absolute Adventure was top quality and their instructions clear and thorough. As my husband is not a confident swimmer, Claire coached him through the experience with her calming and reassuring approach, allowing him to experience wonders that he would otherwise never have done. The driver was very courteous and professional. We were able to keep our personal belongings safely stowed away in the van during our excursions. Personal touches including lunch in a Mayan village, discussion about the Mayan culture and civilization and the wonders of the cenotes, made this a complete cultural adventure. The professionalism and person touch offered by Absolute Adventure exceeded our expectations. We were treated with the most refreshing hospitality on our tour of the Coba Ruins and our snorkeling adventure within the Cenote cave system. I wouldn't want to experience our day that we spent with Absolute Adventure any other way. What an amazing treat for us! We booked a private excursion which included a tour of Tulum, snorkeling in a cenote and snorkeling with sea turtles. We also selected the photographer and the pictures are perfect. We had the best time! Chris was our guide and he was very professional and was a blast to hang out with! The prices were worth every penny. We did not run into any crowds at all. They made the excursion the most memorable part of our vacation. We will book with them when we return with our kids.

We booked Absolute Adventure for 2 days which included 4 excursions. They made sure we beat the crowds, provided beverages and lunch. The drivers made you feel safe and we were able to leave our belongings in the van. Claire was very knowledgeable and Chris will keep you laughing. We had a great time! Highly Recommended.

The outstanding professionalism started with the booking process. Clair and Chris were wonderful to work with and were willing to answer any question we had during the booking process. Our trip to Tulum was amazing, we were the first group to enter, which in itself was priceless. We were able to truly take the experience Tulum without being crowded by other tourist. The authentic Mexican meal that we had was outstanding. We were also very impressed how willing they both were to work with us the week of our vacation and accommodating our trip around the weather so that we got the most out of our trip.

Chris was a wonderful guide yesterday on our trip to Tulum, cenote and snorkeling with the turtles. He made sure we were comfortable with the equipment and had lots of patience with me since I was a bit tentative. The scenery was beautiful, this was one of the highlights of our trip and Chris handled all the details very well.

Spent two days with Claire and would highly recommend. Prior to our trip Claire answered all our questions in a timely fashion (via e-mail) and was so patient with all my questions as I tried to understand the options available. Prior to arriving, Claire was nice enough to let me know that the turtle tour would probably not be available because of the weather (the beaches were closed) and worked with me to plan an alternative trip. First to the Mayan ruins at Talum-private tour, unique delicious Mayan lunch and then the very private tour through an amazing Cenote- while snorkling - with no crowds! Second day drove to Coba ruins-private tour, bike tour, another native delicious lunch and an amazing Cenote-hike and snorkle. Although woke up very early both days, both our kids never complained because they saw the benefit of arriving early (per Claire's recommendations) and loved the adventure, beauty and unique experience. This is a must tour!
