Many thanks to Marcel, Chris & the driver. We had an exclusive trip with Marcel. His passion for this country made this day even more fantastic. It was an incredible experience in the cenote, felt like in a different universe, stunning. Marcel is the perfect guide, passionate, knowledge, very likeable & patient. Thank you Marcel for all these beautiful impressions. Snorkeling with the turtles was an unforgettable experience as well. Because of this I became a snorkeling fan. I always prefer a private tour when possible... for the very reasons I enjoyed our day so much. As Marcel said at the beginning - it's your day, we do what you want to do at your pace. They picked us up promptly at our hotel and we headed out. I asked to stop at an ATM since the ATM at our hotel charges exorbitant fees to use and he said - no problem. We first went to Coba ruin and got in before the other big groups. After we got the guided intro, we grabbed bikes and explored the rest of the ruins with Marcel. He is very relaxed and knowledgeable about the local terrain, vegetation, and culture. But we also enjoyed learning about him and how he found his place in the Yucatan, very easy to talk to - just like new friends getting acquainted. We really enjoyed our lunch at a local restaurant, so good! and then we snorkeled in the Pet Cemetery cenote. I hadn't really researched cenotes prior to our trip so I had no idea how cool this was. We were so happy we picked this tour. We took our time, had our guide all to ourselves instead of competing with others to ask questions or take pictures. We never felt rushed, he took care of all transactions with admission fees, lunch bill, etc. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend doing a private tour whatever excursion you choose and don't hesitate to contact this company!!

Dos Ojos Cenote with Alex and Carlos. Carlos was very professional and drove very well. Alex gave us a history lesson on the Mayan people and the cenotes on the ride down. He is very knowledgeable and speaks very fluent English. We toured three cenotes, the first had a lot of cool vegetation and the water in the second one looked royal blue. In the third we went deep into the caves and it was totally amazing. This is the opportunity of a life time and like nothing else we have ever done. Wow! Then once we finished and changed clothes we had the Mayan lunch with Alex. The food is great and I recommend the fish or shrimp tacos! We were gone for over 6 hours and when we returned to Playa del Carmen we both crashed and took a nap. If you are visiting the area, this is a must and going with Alex and Absolute Adventure on a private tour is the only way to do it! Alex is the best tour guide by far!

We brought a couple of friends with us this time to Playa and used Claire for scuba diving. Our friends are not divers but Claire had a snorkle guide to stay with them while we went diving they done some snorkleing, which they loved! We never have to lift a finger, Claire does everything! She picked us up at our hotel took us to the feary, bought our tickets. While we were on board crossing to Cozumel Claire bought us drinks. She goes above and beyond of making you comfortable and making sure your having a great time! Use them, they won't dissapoint you!

My wife and I visited Mexico for our honeymoon in September 2016. We originally booked our hotel and tours in March, and spent a large portion of time researching and looking for the best quality at a reasonable price. In the case of the tours, we were willing to spend more money for a better experience. This was the case with Absolute Adventure as the cost is a bit higher than some other tour agencies, but absolutely reasonable when the experience in retrospect could only be considered "perfect.

We did all 3 in one day! My wife and I wanted a private tour, and private is definitely what we got. The guides are extremely knowledgeable, and very courteous. This will definitely be a highlight of our trip. We HIGHLY recommend this company to guide you in your adventures while in Cancun. Incredible!

At first I was skeptical on booking with them as all the transaction was done via email. But after going thru this private tour, I would recommend it to anyone who is going to Cancun area to try these folks out. They are absolutely amazing. Yes the pick up was early at 5:30 am but when we finished the tour of Chichen Itza we realized how good it was to plan this early. Marcel was amazing. No issues and he was an amazing guide to take us for the tour. He realized our group was not very adventurous and therefore he helped in accommodating for this. Very patient, lots of good food, snacks, drinks and very safe. I will ask people to give these folks a chance. You will not be disappointed.

We found AA website during our holiday and booked a trip for four to Coba and the Cenotes. It was a great trip and we had so much fun we decided to book and diving trip to Cozomel. AA where organised, prompt, quality transport (new VW transporter mini bus) and very helpful. There was no clock watching, the English speaking guides where excellent and a lot of fun. At coba we had a personal guide and his knowledge was excellent, and we saw everything at the site. The diving trip was also great, and they even set up all our equipment. This company offers far better trips than any from the hotels, they work out cheaper and the personal service makes you feel a bit more special than all the others.

We had a half day tour to the Tulum ruins and cenote snorkeling The Absolute Adventure made it a memorable excursion that became one of the highlights of our trip to Playa del Carmen. Claire made sure that we enjoyed every minute of the trip. We especially liked the cenote diving. The cenote we went was chosen by Claire, and how spectacular and magnificent it was! I am sure, without Claire and the Absolute Adventure team, it would not have been such an exciting and amazing experience.

We used Absolute Adventure for a private snorkeling trip. Our family had never snorkeled, but Absolute Adventure took great care of us. The best part is that it was private. It was just us, not a big tourist group. We were picked up at our resort. Not only were they on time, but early. The reefs and fish were amazing. We highly recommend Absolute Adventure.

Doing Chichen Itza with Absolute Adventure was a great choice ! Our guide was incredibly nice and knowledgable and took tons of pictures for us! There were very few tourists in Chichen Itza, it was amazing! Having it be a private tour is a major plus!

Adrian and I visited Riviera Maya this past week. When thinking about excursion adventures there are so many companies you can choose from. There are companies right when you get off the plane, companies at the hotels, but we chose Absolute Adventure for our ATV/Zip line Adventure. So glad we did.

We started at 5:30AM in the morning, everyone was exhausted since this was our second day at the resort. Marcel was there and waiting since we had an unfortunate issue getting late due to a cold shower. Our journey was smooth and the driver was very nice despite not speaking English natively. Chichen was beautiful and the tour guide knew a lot (this was a separate tour guide within the resort). Marcel followed us through the entire adventure and even the cenote he picked was perfect! (Even though I chickened out near the stairs as the water was a bit deep). He swam around with us and helped us as needed, it was overall an amazing experience! He never rushed us at all and made excellent conversation when we weren't sleeping (we were sleeping a lot, I personally wasn't!). Overall the food during lunch was awesome too as Marcel made some decent picks on food. I would pick this company again simply because of how Marcel handled the tour! I hope this message gets to him as well, he was an amazing guy! Thank you for the awesome trip!

We had a great time even with the rain! Really enjoyed the pet cemetery and cenote. Marcel was a great guide and the driver even carried my small nephew around and stayed with my mom while the rest of the family did the tour. Thank you absolute adventure! If I am ever in Playa again I will definitely tour with them again.

We booked a visit to Tulum ruins and Cenote on Aug 3,2016. Marcelle(our guide) arrived promptly at 7:00 am, w/c to some may think way too early but the staff of Abolute Adventure figured it out already that this schedule will bring us to the ruins avoiding the influx of people. Their van is well stocked w/ beverages and snacks, they made every effort to make us comfortable and have fun as well. Marcel is a good guide and very enthusiastic in showing us around and encouraging everyone to try and swim into the cold water of the cenote,Fernando our kind driver was very helpful as well. The lunch w/c is included in the tour was an authentic Mexican fare, simple lunch but we enjoyed it as well. I highly recommend Absolute Adventure because of their good planning and making everyone as comfortable as can be.

My family recently visited Playa Del Carmen and reached out to Absolute Adventures for a private trip to Chichen Itza, Tulum and swimming in cenotes. Claire accomodated us and did the tour herself Everything was first class including the lunch in Vallodroid. The trip was fantastic and Claire had much knowledge about the ruins. She took us to swim in cenotes that we had seen on the travel channel . It was one of the best trips my family has been on while on vacation.

My husband and I booked Absolute Adventure to take a tour of Chichen Itza and swim in cenotes with a stop in Valladolid for lunch. The day of the tour was absolutely wonderful. Our guide for the day was Arturo and he couldn't have been better. He was extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and made the day smooth and fun. He also took great pictures for us! Our driver was also wonderful and very nice. Absolute Adventure provided a tour guide at Chichen Itza who did an excellent job and made the visit very thorough and informative. It was so worth getting there early before the heat and crowds! We got wonderful pictures with no one in the background and were able to leave before it go too hot. Throughout the day, we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy all aspects of the tour, including a delicious lunch. We would HIGHLY recommend Absolute Adventure and will use them again on future trips.

Took a private ATV, Zip Line, and Cenote tour with my wife and 17 year old son. Claire was great and promptly answered the numerous emails I kept sending her. Transportation showed up exactly on team and quickly got us out to Boca del Puma where the tour was. Since there were only three of us we didn't have to wait for anything and did all of our activities at our own pace. Marcel, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area's history and the local flora & fauna. Answered all our questions including the one about certain tree that we've been asking since we arrived and NO ONE else had been able to answer.

We took a private snorkeling tour to Puerto Morelos with Marcel as our guide and couldn't be happier. We had taken group tours in the past and really appreciated the convenience and customization of taking a private tour. Absolute Adventure was so accommodating, responsive, flexible, and great with communication via email which is a plus when in a foreign country. The guide, Marcel, was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and professional. He catered to our requests and was pleasant to hang out with. He also spoke great English which is a plus! The reef was beautiful and afterwards we had a delicious authentic Mexican dinner of fresh caught seafood (we even got to pick out the fish) which was delicious. Our friends also took a tour with Claire to Coba and Cenote snorkeling the prior day and were so impressed they recommended we book another tour asap. I will definitely seek out more excursions with Absolute Adventures next time we're in Mexico!

We had never done a private tour therefore I was a touch apprehensive on the day we went 25th July, well what was I worried about! My partner, 2 teenage girls and I knew as soon as we met Claire that this was going to be a good day and one of those to remember. We went for the Coba and Pet Cemetery Cenote visit (with lunch deep in the Mayan jungle). We climbed the Coba pyramid and Claire did to, which I thought was a nice touch - we all high 5'd each other at the end, I was impressed with that because it meant Claire was enjoying this trip just as much as we were. The Cenote was simply amazing, few beers after and off we went back to the hotel. All in all around an 8 hour trip, pick up at 06:30 which meant we missed the crowds and back to the hotel for 14:30 with plenty of time to catch those rays.

Prior to going to Playa I reached out to Chris here and she gave me a very good feeling I would be having a good time with her tour company. I decided to try it and it was very nice. My daughters 20 & 22 had a blast. We did the buggy's, Zip Line and Cenote. I believe your only as good and the people that you hire to work for you. Marcel was our guide and he and the driver were great. While others were just hanging out on the ride to the tour spot Boca Del Puma I was speaking with Marcel. He's very smart and knows a lot about the area so for me it was a tour and an education because I learned so much speaking with him.I highly recommend this tour company and ask for him to be your guide.Lastly our tour guide at Boca was Sra and he was also great and informative. Just do it book with them. Lastly a good tip is the best sign that you had a good time

The Tulum+snorkelling tour was definitely the best part of our 4 day trip. Having a private tour meant we didn't have to spend time waiting for other people, and did everything at our own pace. Claire, our tour guide, was very knowledgable about the Mayan ruins and history, and also very attentive during the snorkelling portion to make sure we were having a good time. I highly, highly, highly recommend Absolute Adventure! I will definitely book them again the next time I visit the Riviera Maya!

We are so happy we booked our excursion through Absolute Adventure. We started the day being picked up at 7:30. While that is early, it is because our guide wanted to ensure that we avoided the lines and crowds. We had a wonderful guide at the ruins and as we were leaving HUNDREDS of people were coming in with the BIG tour buses. Our tour was private but also less expensive than the bigger companies. The tour of the cenotes was fantastic. Becuase it was private, we moved at our own pace, saw everything we wanted to see and asked questions. Our guide was Marcel and he was very knowledgable. He did a great job! It was a perfect day.

We had such a wonderful time. This is the first time we did a private tour and it was so worth it. We did the cenotes one day and the the snorkeling with turtles the next. Because we got to the cenote so early we had it all to ourselves. It was like our own little oasis. Also, Chris and Claire were so knowledgeable and fun. They went out of their way to show us a fun time - Claire even took us to her favorite taco restaurant after the second excursion because she had heard from Chris how we were dying for some truly authentic Mexican food. We had three kids with us ages 4,5, and 6 and they were very accommodating of their ages and we felt very safe in their hands. The littles were even able to zipline over the cenote! We can't wait to go back and book with them again. It was hands down the best excursion we have been on.
