We had an awesome day with Absolute Adventure on our ruins and cenote tour! Arturo was a fantastic guide — super knowledgeable about Mayan history, engaging, and fun to spend the day with. Rodrigo was a great driver, and Pablo, who was training as an additional guide, was also excellent. The whole team was friendly, professional, and made sure we had a great experience. The ruins were amazing, the cenote was a great experience, and lunch was a nice addition to the day. We especially enjoyed having a smaller, more private tour rather than being part of a big group. Everything was well organized, relaxed, and never felt rushed. I would absolutely recommend Absolute Adventure to anyone looking for a great ruins and cenote tour. Thanks to Arturo, Rodrigo, and Pablo for such a memorable day!

This was an amazing tour. Our guide Joshua and driver Rodrigo did an excellent job of keeping us updated and getting use to the cenotes in the best order. The lunch at the end was extremely tasty. The torta or the mix plate is a must. It was a long ish drive from Cancun but worth the time.

Unfortunately the turtle snorkeling part of our tour was canceled because of weather, but we made the best of it with Arturo. He was a great guide with the cenote tour. We had a great experience.

No words to describe the beauty of the cenotes. We were really happy with the day and our guide Luis. He was informative and was able to make our drive interesting with the history of the area, while we made our way to the cenotes. Enrique, our driver, was with the van while we had our adventures. It was great to be able to put our things in the van, instead of getting locker. We felt very well taken care of. We were provided with everything we needed, except for the towels, and they have some fun wicking towels for sale if you need them or want a cool souvenir. This is the best way to experience the area, hands down.

Highly recommend booking with and through Absolute Adventure! Booking via Absolute Adventure was easy and quick. They also cover all the park fees in their pricing. For a private tour the cost of $500 was very reasonable to visit the Telum Ruins park, visit two different cenotes, be able to snorkel in one of the cenotes, use the zip line and cliff jump at the other cenotes, have a private guide, reliable transportation who pick you up at your resort, and have a lunch in a beautiful jungle included, you couldn’t do better!! Leaving early in the morning also meant there wasn’t traffic. Ricardo, our driver, who picked us up on time at 6:30am with Arturo, our guide. Ricardo is an awesome driver, the ride was smooth. He even had cold water and soda in the back of the car for us. Im thankful Ricardo and Arturo picked us up early. We were able to beat the heat and were the first ones at the Telum Ruins park which allowed us to really enjoy all the park had to offer. Arturo went at the perfect pace and even brought water. We were out and about from 6:30-14:45ish which was the perfect length. We had forgotten our reusable water bottles but Arturo had us covered. Arturo Arturo was fantastic! He had a rich knowledge of the Telum ruins as well as each of the Cenotes. We learned so much about the history of the city of Telum. The park is lush and beautiful. It was especially unique to see some of the light paints that had been preserved despite the hundreds of years passing. We met Bob the iguana too. Arturo took some breathtaking photos to share with our families. We visit cenote Jaguar which was exquisite! My partner and I really enjoyed the zip line and cliff jumping experience. Arturo was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna at Cenote Jaguar. We didn’t get to see a basilisk but we saw plenty of small fish which nibbled occasionally on us. Arturo captured us each coming down the zip line and took us around the mangroves. We also visited Cenote Taak bi Ha which was very different than Jaguar. Taak bi Ha had many stalagmites and stalactites. Arturo pointed out bats and showed us where the cave divers follow lines to guide them on their adventure. He also pointed out calcium deposits. At Taak bi Ha he provided us with snorkeling gear and flashlights. I didn’t provide photos for the cenotes because my camera skills couldn’t do these beautiful places justice. I’ve never seen anything like them before! Absolutely stunning and wild!! Finally we had lunch at this restaurant in the jungle that had lush greenery surrounding the area. I had the sample taco plate and it was delicious. If you like spicy use some of the green chili sauce it really adds to the dish. Also the jimica drink isn’t included but definitely worth springing for ($6 usd) per drink which is a hibiscus ice tea and super tasty. I can’t say thank you enough to Ricardo and Arturo! They really make this tour a highlight of our vacation!!

Amazing tour guide!! Luis was the best. So friendly and the knowledge he had of the ruins was awesome. Even told us about animals and plants all related to the history of Mayans and how everything is related to today. Highly recommend!! If I could give more stars I would.

Arturo was a wonderful tour guide for our group’s tour to Chichen Itza. He was knowledgeable, took the time to constantly check in on us about if we had any questions or needed anything, and made the experience enjoyable overall. The vehicle was also stocked with a cooler full of beverages which was great especially for after the tour when we all really needed it! We highly recommend Arturo and Absolute Adventure!

My husband and I traveled to Playa del Carmen for the first time and booked an excursion to the Tulum ruins, a cenote and lunch. Our tour guide Eddy was beyond amazing! He was so knowledgeable and taught us so much about the area, the ruins, including a lot of info about Chichen Itza even though it wasn't on our tour. I learned a lot about the Mayan people and Aztecs. Unfortunately I underestimated my ability to handle the heat in the area but Eddy and our driver Rodrigo were amazing! I hung out in the shade so my husband could finish the tour, then Eddy got me out of the ruins so fast and back to Rodrigo. We had to cancel the cenote due to my heat exhaustion but they were so understanding and patient and got us back to our resort quickly. If ever in the area again I would absolutely try again and request Eddy as our tour guide!

I can’t express how great Absolute Adventure was for my family’s private Chichen Itza and Cenote tour. Our driver Enrique was friendly, got to our resort early and got us to each destination safely and efficiently. Our guide was Eddy and all we can say is WOW! He was so full of knowledge about Mexican history and culture including the Mayans. He talked with us our entire trip about so many things and we all walked away with so much knowledge and appreciation. We would definitely recommend Absolute Adventure for anyone interested in visiting a cultural site. We will definitely use Absolute Adventure for our next trip!

Brilliant day. Went to the Tulum ruins and a beautiful cenote. Arturo’s knowledge, patience and enthusiasm made the trip memorable. We were amazingly looked after with no pressure to rush or purchase anything. I’d strongly recommend this tour. The cenote we chose had a zip line and huge jumps. But it was still incredibly peaceful.
