Everything about this trip was great. Our guide was amazing! Juanjo was knowledgable and friendly and went out of his way to cater to our small children. We got to go to less traveled places at less traveled times and enjoy them without all the crowds. This trip exceeded our expectations in every way. But really the guide makes the trip and he was great!

Absolute Adventure did a specular job!! Communication was top notch, service was fantastic, and the tour itself was informative and amazing. Arturo and Juan were the greatest guides on earth. We loved getting to know them, and their knowledge of the area exceeded our expectations. We HIGHLY recommend Amazing Adventure if you are in the area. It's a "can't miss" experience!!!

My wife and I and our 24 year old daughter spent all day today on our excursion. We did the Tulum, Cenote, & Akamul Turtle combination tour. Juan was our guide. They were prompt at 7:30am to pick us up at our hotel. We went straight to Tulum and we we're one of the first people there. It was great because we got to beat the crowd. Then we went to the cenote to snorkel. We had never snorkeled in a cenote before. Juan made us feel very comfortable and gave us perfect instructions. We were not rushed at all and got to spend as much time as we wanted there. Then they took us to a local restaurant in the jungle and we had a fabulous lunch. Then we went to Akamul to snorkel with the turtles. Got to see several turtles. It was a beautiful time. After that we loaded up in the van and they returned us to our hotel. We had a fabulous time all day. They also had plenty of water and Gatorade for us to drink all day long. They really care about the safety and comfort of their customers. We can't wait to return to Cancun and book another adventure with them.

My family and I did the ATV, zipline and cenote tour and it was such a blast!!! We had Juan Manuel as our tour guide and Juan as our driver and they were great! They had us laughing the whole trip and really made it such a fun family experience! My husband and I then did the Tulum and swimming with turtles tour a couple days later with Arturo and Erving as the driver and they were also great! Theyre such fun and easy going people that make it easy to enjoy the tours! I highly recommend Absolute Adventures to everyone! Theyre well organized, easy to contact, and have such amazing staff! I also really like the fact that they take you to eat to real local restaurants to help out the local people. Having it be a private tour is a major plus!

Our excursion (snorkeling with sea turtles and cenote) was wonderful. Juan was a wonderful guide. This excursion exceeded our expectations by far and I would definitely recommend to others.

We had the best possible experience with our tour. They were early for pickup and very friendly. Arturo was extremely knowledgeable and very gracious with our 7 and 10 year old children. He made the Chichen Itza tour fun for them. He picked a lovely lunch restaurant (best meal of our whole trip!) before we went to the Cenotes. Having this small company take care of us was so much better than being on a huge bus with 80-100 people you don't know and being at the mercy of that schedule.

This is a wonderful company that provides amazing opportunities to explore Mexico. Our guide Arturo was absolutely wonderful. The service was easy to use, The transportation was not only private it also was on time. We did an excursion to the Tulum ruins, cenote, and swam with turtles. Our guide stayed with us the entire time and answered so many of our questions. Auturo was so easy to get along with and so was Claire that arranges the booking! I highly recommend booking your excursion with this company!

I compared most of the tour companies in the area (using TripAdvisor) to see which one would best suit our needs. We were looking for a specific private tour of Tulum and Coba ruins and most companies offer an either/or option with snorkeling or a cenote swim. I contacted Absolute Adventures through their website and received a very prompt response, within 10 minutes! I had contacted a few other companies the prior afternoon and had not yet received a response. Absolute Adventures provided a couple of proposed tour packages for us to choose from based on what we wanted to do and we chose one that fit our needs. We chose a Tulum and Cobs ruins private tour. Juan and Ervin where our guide and driver respectively, and they were great. Juan was very knowledgeable, personable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a safe, fulfilling, and enjoyable experience. They were great. We were picked up at our hotel on time and headed out to Tulum first, arriving before the park opened and before the massive crowds. Juan got our entry tickets and arranged for our guide, selecting a guide that complimented my wife's interest in botany, then accompanied us through the ruins, adding much to our experience with his knowledge. We then headed to Coba where again Juan took care of everything including bicycle rental and a guide of the archaeological site. Then off to lunch at a nearby local restaurant (Chile Picante) with great food. We cannot recommend Juan and Absolute Adventure highly enough. If you are in Cancun, we recommend taking a private tour with Absolute Adventure. Juan and Ervin were simply amazing and helped make our tour a wonderful experience.

This was our first trip to Tulum, and of all the things we did, the high point was spending the day with Claire and Absolute Adventure. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the region and is incredibly friendly. Their van was new and very clean. Spending the morning with green sea turtles is absolutely amazing. We spent an hour with them, dried off, Claire gave us a choice of a few cenotes to visit. We chose one that was a little quieter, a perfect crystal clear watering hole in the jungle. She took us to lunch after and then back to our hotel. Couldn't have asked for more, we would use Absolute Adventure again without a doubt!

Where to begin! I spent months comparing and reviewing different tour companies to find the right one for us. I always came back to looking at Absolute Adventure. I finally decided to book it. I promptly corresponded through email with Claire and she was wonderful. I know I was a difficult customer. I had many changes to my plans and she was always very understanding about them. We booked the Tulum, cenote and turtle tour. We cancelled the cenote tour at the last minute (which I felt horrible about) because we felt we would be too exhausted to do all three. I am glad I did! Arturo was waiting for us in the lobby right on time. He was very friendly and made us feel comfortable from the first moment we met him. First stop was Tulum. We arrived right as they opened. The weather was pleasant (for Mexico) and no crowds. I didn’t get the name of the guide who took us around, but he was great! I would take a tour a dozen times with him if I could. We spent most of the time laughing because he was so funny. We finished up there and headed back to the van. By this time is was very crowded and hot. I am so glad we got there when we did! Next stop was Akumal to swim with the turtles. A different guide took us out on the water. This was my first time snorkeling, first time even swimming in the ocean! I was very nervous but Arturo assured me I would be fine. I picked it up very quickly and off we went. Almost immediately we saw turtles. I lost count of how many turtles we saw on the trip. I have so many awesome pictures of them. By the time we were done my arms were like jelly, which is why I am glad we skipped the cenote. Next time we come we will definitely book with them again!

This our first excursion external to Thomson who we usually book with to be safe. I will definitely be booking with these guys again, they were brilliant! Private tour with just me and my partner, no uncomfortable coaches having to pick other people up. Got to Tulum ruins before the crowds and the snorkelling and lunch were great too. We loved every minute and our guide Artur was brill, he was very passionate about his job and wanting to learn himself. Great laid back but professional guide! Thanks again.

We booked a private tour to Tulum and Muyil. We are a family of four with two teenagers. We were picked up in an air-conditioned van by Juan (JJ) and our driver. JJ was one of our guides and we quickly got to know each other since JJ is outgoing and talkative. We met up with Claire who would serve as our 2nd guide. Claire too was very nice and personable. We all talked for the entire drive to Tulum. Claire and JJ could not have been nicer and more down to earth. Claire and JJ got us into Tulum very quickly and avoided the crowds. They showed us around Tulum and explained in detail what we were looking at and gave us insight into what was going on at the time the Mayans lived there. Very interesting. We then headed to Muyil, which is a smaller ruin in the jungle. Butterflies were everywhere as Claire and JJ showed us around Muyil. We then walked through the mangroves on a wooden path which the Mayans used to travel to Chichen Itza. We were then taken to a local restaurant for lunch. Claire and JJ sat and ate with us as we talked and got to know each other and their experiences in Mexico. We highly recommend Absolute Adventure and we would book with them again on a future trip.

When we saw the huge busses and trams full of tourists arriving as we were leaving the ruins of Tulum, I turned to my wife and told her that going the private tour route was SO WORTH IT! But let me start at the beginning and tell you that the day began as it ended: WONDERFULLY! We were picked up early by our Guide, Arturo and Driver, Juan. The van was very comfortable and came complete with A/C and a cooler stocked with beverages; Water, Gatorade, BEER! Arturo was wonderful to speak with and very knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. Our first stop was Tulum. We were accompanied by another guide who worked for the park who gave us more information in the short time we were together than we could ever receive during a full semester in college. If we had been in a large tour group, we would never have been able to hear most of what he had to share with us about the rich history and culture of he Mayans and Tulum. After that, we were off to snorkel a Cenote. I had never heard of a Cenote until we began researching this excursion. I'm so happy we chose this as it was beautiful and amazing. Arturo offered great info about the geological makeup of the peninsula and the reason for the formation of these cave waterways. They are chilly; hence the wetsuits but your body soon acclimates. It was a short trip to our lunch destination along the same road that led to the Cenote. Delicious and authentic cuisine. Our last stop was perhaps the best of the day as we snorkeled in Akumal Bay to view Sea Turtles. As soon as we passed under the ropes, our water guide, Jose, pointed out a large Turtle eating from the grass on ocean floor. Soon after we came upon 6 in a small cluster. We simply hovered over them and watched and waited for them to rise up beside us to catch a breath before heading back down to continue feeding. In addition to the turtles, we say a stingray and other beautiful fish. Each member of our family definitely had their favorite moment of the day, but I can genuinely say that we were all pleased with the service and attention to detail demonstrated by Arturo, Juan and the AAM organization. You are going to pay more for a private tour but you are going to get SO MUCH MORE in return during the course of the day. A HUGE Thank You to Arturo and Juan for your kindness and professionalism during our excursion and AAM for setting such high standards for their employees, excursions and care of their customers.

I cannot say enough about this company, and would give more than 5 stars if I could. So easy working with Claire setting up the tours and she promptly answered all of my questions. We had a small group (my wife, 18 year old son and me), that had never been to this area and wanted a private tour to learn and enjoy. We did the Chichen Itza / Vallidolid tour and the Tulum / cenotes / turtles. Both were top notch and far exceeded our expectations. The thing that made it most enjoyable was our tour guide Juan. He was informative, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. We felt like he was part of our family and was giving us a personal tour of everything. I would no doubt recommend this group to anyone going to this area and want a personal touch on exploring many things.

You won't find a more attentive and professional team. My husband two boys and I chose Absolute Adventure because of all the positive reviews- I have to tell you they were spot on. Each experience was carefully planned and executed perfectly. From the tour at Tulum to the snorkeling with turtles and finally a swim at a lagoon fun and amazing experiences were had by all- memories for a life time! By the way I wrote this review the same day of the tour, because they were that great!

We had a group of seven family members take two tours. Our guide and driver on both tours was Juan and Juan Manuel. Both tours were so enjoyable. First tour we went to Tulum, then swimming in a cenote, then snorkeling with turtles in Akumal Bay. The second tour was Chichen Itza and Tulum. Juan was so wonderful and accommodating that he quickly became not just our guide but our friend and part of our crazy group. I highly recommend Juan, Juan Manuel and Absolute Adventure Mexico.

We just got back from Mexico on our honeymoon and the first thing i did when i sat down was review this tour! We did tulum, snorkeling with the turtles, and snorkeling in a beautiful cenote! Arthur was our guide that day and all we cant say enough about him! He was fun, engaging, down to earth, and such an amazing guy. We got to know him pretty well throughout the day and hes truly amazing. He taught us things and showed us things about the country we will never forget. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our honeymoon that much more special. Even though it was raining most of our tour it didnt stop him one bit! I cant wait to go back and hopefully use him again!!!

Our family of 10 traveled to Rivera Maya the end of May 2017. We booked 2 tours with Absolute Adventure Mexico and we are so happy we found this tour company! Prior to our trip the email communication was great. This company pays attention to every detail - our tours were worry free, fun filled days! These 2 tours were the highlight of our trip! Juan was our tour guide for both days and he was wonderful! He was so attentive to our needs and a joy to be around - he was like part of our family, it was sad to say bye to him our last day.

What a great service Absolute Adventure provides. From on time pick-up at our hotel, to the Coba ruins tour, the Tulum boat tour and snorkeling and lastly the great lunch at Charlie's I can't think of a better tour operator. Arturo was an excellent tour guide and Ervin provided flawless transportation.

We had an awesome time with Juan as our guide on our Mexican adventure. Our group of 4 was picked up at our hotel and taken to a private property where we were able to go on ziplines, ride ATVs and swim in a cenote. At the cenote, we were also able to jump from a high platform, zipline into the water and walk a rope bridge over the water. We were served an authentic empanada which was so delicious. The difference between this tour and many of the others that offer the same activities is that this is private and no crowds! You will practically have the place to yourself. So nice to be able to enjoy our activities without hundreds of tourists and people pushing things on you. I highly recommend this company for any tour they offer!

Chris and Claire at Absolute Adventure were great guides and were very knowledgeable about the area. We booked 2 tours through them to see Mayan ruins. My son is a history buff and was really interested in learning about the history of the area. He has a mobility disability and they were very cognizant of his needs and took things at a great pace. The vans that we traveled in were comfortable and clean and the drivers were very good. The restaurants that we ate at during our tours were both excellent, especially El Atrio. I highly recommend their services for travels in Yucatan and Quintana Roo.

I'll try to keep this short but want to start by saying how excellent our private tour was. From the moment we began the trip we were invited to enjoy anything we wanted from the cooler. After properly hydrating we enjoyed a private tour around Tulum with our guide offering to carry our bag which was a very kind gesture. Lucky for us we arrived early and got to enjoy some beautiful views from the hilltop while we learned about mayan history. Let's hope we don't have to wait 52 years to see them again. After this we headed to the beach for some water activities. Unfortunately my friend swallowed a bunch of sea water when jumping in and got a tummy ache after a while. This is where we truly became enamored and the true nature of this company was demonstrated. Our tour guide made us feel totally at ease, never once pressuring us to go anywhere or do anything other than being comfortable. My friend would eventually recover but only after a few hours of rest. We were unable to enjoy the lunch provided with the tour so they refunded us the appropriate amount. As my friend put it "they made me feel like a princess" and to me that pretty sums it up. Thank you Absolute Adventures for making our adventure the best even when it got tough. Bravo.

This was the best excursion ever! Just my wife and I had a fabulous time swimming in Akumal Bay with the sea turtles and then swimming in two cenotes. I was really looking forward to the turtles but enjoyed the cenotes even more. Juan was great and our driver Manuel did a wonderful job navigating us around. It was super easy to book. Claire was very prompt in responding to our questions. Juan was very knowledgeable and informative. Our son called while we were traveling in the van. He was back home with a stomach bug. Juan asked about him several times and made sure we were in places where we had a phone connection and could check on him. I had shoulder surgery 5 months ago and he was very careful helping me get the wet suit on and off making sure it did not hurt. My wife was scared of the bats in the caves and he was very calming as we made our way through . Had lunch at a Mayan family restaurant. Very good! Overall a fantastic day! We have done dozens of excursions over the years and none have compared to this one. As a side note if you swim with the turtles be advised that fins are not allowed. It is a good bit of swimming but the guide does not rush you through.

This tour was absolutely AMAZING! We had a private tour of the Tulum Ruins! Our Tour guide Juan (We called him JJ) got us there early to miss the crowd. It was awesome,we have so may cool intimate photos! Then we went snorkeling in 2 Cenotes! The water was co cool and refreshing! Again, JJ was so helpful, we were a family of 5 and my 10 & 12 year old were a little scared at first,but JJ made everyone comfortable. We then ate a delicious Mexican lunch. They then took us to the beach, where we swam with turtles. It too was AMAZING!!.. My family enjoyed every moment! Our tour guide was awesome and we wish we could have tipped him more!!..

It was super easy to book this tour via email with Claire, prompt responses and very helpful. We were a party of 6, including my parents (ages 77 & 79)...I was a bit worried about the amount of activity but everything was organized well with Claire. She was our guide throughout the day with a trainee Arturo (both very personable, helpful and full of patience!). The tour was well planned out with an early start to Coba to miss the massive amount of tourist who come a bit later, the bikes were fun and great having a pedicab for my Mom. The snorkeling in the Cenote was amazing! So nice not to be with the crowds there as well. Overall an awesome day, loads of fun! Thanks so much to Absolute Adventure Mexico!

He was always making sure we were comfortable and the van came stocked with drinks! If you are tired of hitels booking your adventures, look no further. You will not be disappointed. Its your vacation so why should you wait on others to shuttle to your next escape. Book a private driver and tour with the amazing staff. Juanco is awesome and the driver Ervine. We enjoyed even our 2hr road trip to Chichen Iza with these two.
