Beat the crowds and experience Chich?n Itz? the right wayOur private tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico to Chich?n Itz? was one of the highlights of our trip. Booking the tour was straightforward. They communicated all the necessary details in advance. On the day of the tour, they were right on time. The entire tour lasted from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. There were two people in our party. The van was spotless and comfortable, and they had a cooler with drinks and snacks for the journey. Taking the toll highway from Playa del Carmen made a huge difference; we avoided traffic and had a smooth, relaxed ride. During the drive, we had great conversations. We covered everything from history and politics to social issues and current events. Arriving at Chich?n Itz? early (around 8:00 a.m.) was great. We did a lot of walking. We beat the massive crowds and experienced the site in a much more peaceful and meaningful way. The place itself is absolutely stunning, truly breathtaking, and Eddy?s depth of knowledge made it even more impactful. His explanations were engaging and easy to follow. He was also very patient as we took so many pictures. After exploring, we headed to a cenote. This one is in a cave. It wasn?t crowded at all, so we were able to fully enjoy the serene atmosphere. The water was incredibly refreshing, and the setting was beautiful. A perfect way to end our tour and get all the dust off, and get away from the heat. We wrapped things up with lunch at a lovely restaurant. It was clean, the service was great, and the food and drinks were delicious, a perfect way to end the experience. Overall, this tour was great. It was well-organized, personalized, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. We paid $426.96 USD, and it was a great value. We would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Eddy and Omar, for such a memorable day!

Amazing day!This excursion was magical, definitely the highlight of our week in Riviera Maya. Our driver Ivan was so lovely, and our guide Joshua was just the best - down to earth, knowledgeable, engaged and engaging, and very patient with our 6 and 8 yr old kiddos! We got to Tulum right when it opened (I think we were the first people in!) which was perfect because it was already quite hot. Joshua shared so much interesting history, was happy to answer all our questions, and helped us find great spots for memorable pictures. What I appreciated about this tour as opposed to most of the other companies I was looking at, was that you are given several different cenotes to choose from, so you can figure out which one(s) are closest to what you're looking for. We wanted one open lagoon-type one and one cave-type underground one, so we did Nicte Ha and Taak Bi Ha. They did not disappoint!!! Both were beyond magical, and we all had the most amazing time floating around and exploring. We all loved both cenotes, but my 8you particularly loved Nicte Ha (and jumping in!) and my 6yo really loved Taak Bi Ha. Joshua was so wonderful - patient, helpful, and informative, which also giving space for our family to enjoy our time together. Ivan was also so kind and helped our kiddos with their wetsuits! We were on the fence about whether to do the lunch or not, but I'm so glad we did! The food was great (especially in comparison to the all-inclusive resort we were staying at) but the vibe was even better. So laid-back, with hammocks and swings that our kids got such a kick out of. I can't say enough good things about our day, it is definitely something we will remember for a long time!

Perfect cenote trip!What a wonderful afternoon! Juan was our guide and Hugo was our driver. We went to Jaguar and Pet Cemetary and then a delicious lunch. Jaguar had a free zip line and was more of an open cenote not a covered cave like thing. But perfect for our family and our friends with teenage girls. Pet Cemetary was unique and truly a once in a lifetime experience. All gear, including waterproof flashlights was provided. It was the perfect afternoon away from our resort. Juan was an incredible guide, charming and informed and very interesting. Completely worth the money and something we will remember forever.

Amazing Experience to Akumal & CenoteOur group of 5 friends did the private Akumal and Cenote snorkeling tour with the lovely Cristina as our guide. This was a highlight of our trip! We had an amazing time. Cristina really made it special with all of the background and knowledge she shared about the area?s history and culture. Ending the tour with the most fabulous lunch at Juanita?s was perfecto. Thank you Cristina and our driver Ivan __

Great tour from young to oldIncredible experience for our family ages 13 to 83. The booking process was incredibly simple and they were very accommodating to help us with someof the needs of our older family. The day of the tour we were with JJ and Hugo, who were absolutely amazing giving us an incredibletour of Tulum with great information and then providing us really fun opportunities to swim with the turtles and have a cenote to ourselves. Would highly recommend using them and requesting JJ and Hugo as your guides we were very impressed with everything!

100% recommend this tourSuch an amazing trip! Eddy and Enrique were so friendly and Eddy was extremely knowledgeable about Chitchen Itza. The drive from Cancun to Chitchen Itza was comfortable and smooth. Would 100% recommend.

Thanks Cristina and Ivan!This was such a fun tour! Cristina was a wonderful guide and full of so much historical and cultural knowledge. While snorkeling we saw four sea turtles, puffer fish, and a sting ray. The cenote was absolutely amazing and visually stunning. Wonderful experience start to finish!

Coba Ruins and Punta Laguna Monkey ReserveMy family and I had a great time on our tour with Juan and Omar. We visited the Punta Laguna Monkey Reserve and the Coba Ruins. It was an exciting day full of adventure. We were fortunate enough to see some monkeys in their own habitat, take the zip line over the Laguna, do a little canoeing, ride bikes through the ruins and even climbed to the top of one of the pyramids. Juan was very kind, knowledgeable and passionate. We then ended the tour with a delicious meal at one of the local Coba restaurants. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great day full of variety and excitement.

Cenote was awesome!The cenote was absolutely incredible and our tour guide and driver were knowledgeable and amazing (Ivan and Cristina). The snorkeling wasnt super impressive but the cenote and lunch made it worth while. Would defintely recommend.

Great experience!We had a great experience with Arturo as our guide going to Tulum, Jaguar Cenote, and Akumal. Our driver Ivan did a great job as well! I?d highly recommend them and would definitely use this company in the future.

Great one day excursion Tulum, cenote and turtlesWe booked for a family of four, parents and 11 and 8 year old. The driver was Hugo and our guide was Dulce. 7.30am pick from the hotel. An hour?s drive to Tulum. Just the right amount of walking around the site with kids that are not keen on walking much! We then went on to a cenote. We chose Nicte-Ha as an open one for light and easy swimming. Then lunch - simple but delicious tacos at Junita restaurant. Finally, off to Akumel for swimming with turtles. We saw 4! Highly recommended activity. Dulce was a friendly guide, told us lots about the ruins and helped to learn/ practice snorkelling.

Fantastic day outDid the private tour to Chich?n Itza, cenote and lunch in Valladolid as a family of 12. JJ was our guide and was so knowledgeable and passionate about his job. He told us all about the history of the Mayan and Aztec cultures which was what we wanted (not just a photo opportunity visit). We were 8 adults and 4 children and he engaged with us all and made the tour so much fun. A real asset to the company and a great, well run trip all round. Would definitely recommend.

A good time!A great experience! The guide was friendly, knowledgeable and well organized. We went on our tour of Tulum first thing in the morning when it wasn't too hot, and there weren't tons of other people around. JJ was friendly, happy and knew what he was about, and made the experience lots of fun. Our driver, Yosmar, was a good driver who did his best to get us around safely and avoid a ton of potholes at the same time. The trip to Cenote Taak Bi Ha was fun, definitely a different experience to my usual spelunking stuff, since the water was only mildly colder than the air and easy to adapt to quickly. The cave was interesting, lots of little bitty fish in the water and a few bats in the stalagtites. They provided snorkeling gear that was clearly of good make, though my particular set of goggles didn't seal well because of my beard. After we all went to a nearby restaurant (Juanita's) and had an excellent meal, I got the mixed plate and tried a bit of everything, it was all good. It's a bit of a pity that our guide will be retiring after this season, I would absolutely have hired him for another tour on another trip.
