We are from Cincinnati and did a tour of Tulum and Coba because our 6th grade son loves ancient history. Juan was an incredible guide and Claire was great to schedule with via email. We literally were the first in line at Tulum before it got crowded and riding bikes at Coba was awesome. Our first grader got to ride in a bike taxi. We found Absolute Adventure via Google and my wife was a little nervous about leaving the resort. It was the best day of our vacation. Now my son is building Mayan temples on the beach.

Great tour with Arturo. Very knowledgeable. It's an early tour but it allows you to beat the crowds. By the time we were done at Chichen Itza, it was getting crowded. Same with the Cenote. Lunch in Valladolid was great. Highly recommend this tour. Thanks Arturo!

Amazing experience! Fantastic tour. Our guide Joshua was amazing, the cenote (stalagmites and stalagmites was the highlight of our entire trip. Highly recommend Absolute adventure private tours, we passed by large tour groups that looked miserable, but these guys handled everything so we had absolutely nothing to worry about but hearing the history and stories of the area. 10/10!

Went on the Chichen Itza private tour with another couple. Our guide was Alex and our driver was Omar. If you?re lucky, you?ll get these guys. They were total pros and we never had any worries at all during the day! Our pickup was early at the hotel and on time. Alex gave us an outline of what the day would entail while Omar drove in a safe yet efficient manner. Made a gas station stop on the way and any time we were away from the van, Omar was standing with it and it was a great feeling knowing our belongings were safe. At Chichen Itza Omar dropped us off at the entrance like rock stars and Alex led us through the already developing long line. We walked right into the site and I was blown away. Alex was an excellent guide and was fascinating to listen to. We learned so much about the Mayans and the buildings we were lucky enough to get to see. We all felt incredible appreciation for the history and respect for the area and the people who lived there. We were toured in a very efficient and enthusiastic way by Alex and we were out of there by 11 ish. By then there were literally thousands of people entering the site and an incredible amount of vans and tour buses. Omar had us hooked up near the exit and we were tail lights thankfully. It?s a pretty big crowd by noon. We then went to the Cenote and it was unlike anything we?d ever seen before. We had a refreshing swim in there and then headed to lunch. We had a wonderful lunch at the restaurant in town and it was really nice to have Alex join us. We weren?t really into the idea of going to a market since we?re not really into that kind of thing and we?d already gotten anything we wanted at the Chichen Itza site, so one of the benefits of this private tour was we had the ability to skip it. On the way back we had a few beers and then learned there was a protest on our route back. No problem-o. Omar knew a route we could take to get us back without getting jammed up in a protest. We got back to our hotel, got a group photo and we all talked the next day about what an absolutely fantastic experience this was. Make it happen folks. This is the way to do it. Zero regrets, and we?ll be sure to be taking the same route for any future tours if we?re in the area again. Thanks again Omar & Alex! You guys made it such a fantastic day! We?ll always remember it with nothing but positive memories!

What an amazing experience! We did two tours the week we were in the area, and both were perfect?the best part of our trip in fact, according to my two kids. When we were booking our tours, the second one was sold out, but after emailing with the owner Claire, she immediately responded and opened a new slot for us. Her communication was so quick and direct. Our guide on both tours was Joshua, and he was just incredible. He made everything so easy for us. His knowledge of history and the Mayan ruins we saw (both Coba and Tulum) kept us all fascinated. He took us early to miss the crowds and took many pictures of our family together at every location? reminding us to get the photos even when we would forget, and suggesting the best spots for photos! Every piece of both tours was seamless. We swam and snorkeled in three different cenotes, with Joshua helping us choose ones that our family would enjoy and that would give us a mix of different experiences. We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy every part of the tours. Having a driver (Rodrigo and Josemar) who stayed with the van was very helpful, as we were able to bring everything we needed, but also safely leave valuables in the van while we did our activities. Joshua had everything we needed?all our tickets and entrance fees prepared in advance, equipment for the cenotes and snorkeling with turtles (different sized masks and snorkels to make sure we each had one that fit, life jackets, even a flashlight for the caves in the cenotes), and even recommendations for some delicious dishes at the restaurants for lunch. When he dropped us off for the snorkeling with turtles in Akumal Bay, he introduced us to our snorkel guide for that portion, and was there waiting for us with our towels and belongings right when we finished. He made everything seem so seamless and practically luxurious. And even better, he was such a joy to talk with and get to know a bit. He really seems to enjoy being a tour guide, which made our experience that much more enjoyable as well. Thank you Joshua, for two wonderful days that our family will never forget! You made us want to come back to explore more of Mexico as soon as we can. Or even move there, my daughter just added. _ We would 100% recommend you take a tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico!

The best excursion of our entire trip! This was absolutely our favorite day of our entire trip to Mexico. This is WELL worth the extra money for a private tour. No dealing with crowds, no dealing with people in your group tour wandering off or holding you up! The guides were incredibly informative, personable, prompt and flexible! Great day!

Book it NOW! You can stop searching for a tour company! Truly this was the easiest and best part of our trip. We chose Tulum, Turtles, and Centote (I'd do the 3 Centote if I could choose again) and loved it. Arturo was our guide and was fantastic. He didn't tell weird jokes or yell like other campy guides can do - I felt safe and taken care of. It's easy to book and communication was seamless. DO IT. Have fun and tell Arturo that the quilter from Oregon says HEY.

Arturo was an amazing guide, and Absolute Adventure was a great company What a great company. Honestly, it's so hard to know what kind of experience you are booking in advance, but we lucked out big time with Absolute Adventure. Never once did I feel like they were trying to take advantage of us, or take us to some secret tourist trap. We have been with other groups that get a cut from taking you to partners locations, but not them. Arturo was our guide and he was amazing... patient with my two kids, went at the pace we wanted to go at, and extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would 100 percent recommend Absolute Adventure to anyone that is looking for a great private excursion, with a great guide

Great experiences! We had great experiences with Absolute Adventure. My 80-year-old mother, 18 year--old daughter, and I did two tours with them: private tour of two cenotes and the Coba express tour. Alex was our tour guide for both. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about Mayan culture and history and the natural surroundings. He was patient and encouraging with my mother. Highly recommend!

A Great Day of Natural Wonders! A wonderful day from start to finish. Juan is a fantastic guide who was very knowledgeable, fun, good natured and also very skilled at tailoring the tour for my multi-generational family. You will learn & see so much natural beauty on this tour. I can?t recommend it enough. *tip* go early to avoid massive crowds

Tulum and Tequila tour Before I discuss the tour, I have to say that the managers are very quick to respond to emails and all my questions. This made me feel more comfortable going with them. My wife and I did the Tulum tour with tequila testing. Our driver (Omar) and tour guide (Arturo) were on time at our resort. They are cery friendly and offered waters before we started. The drive to Tulum was about 1 hour. Omar is a very safe driver. We were literally the first ones to Tulum. This provided a great time to gets pics without other people in our photos. Avoided the heat as well. Arturo is very knowledgeable of the history. He took his time and did not rush us. He brought additional material to help explain the history of the mayan culture. Tulum is beautiful. Afterwards we went to lunch at a remote restaurant in the Dos Ojos park. After lunch we did the Mezcal and Tequila tasting. We enjoyed hearing the differences and being able to sample Tequila which is hard to find. We took naps in the way back as Omar drove. Overall a very pleasant day.

Arturo was our guide through Tulum, lunch and a snorkeling swim in a Cenote. He was so knowledgeable and made our tour interesting and fun. He knew so much about the ruins of Tulum, we learned alot and even discovered the Mayan words we still use today! Lunch was delicious and we relied on him for ordering as well, I got the mole special, very good. Then we swam and snorkeled in a lovely cenote and discovered things about them. It was the perfect ending to a day full of memories. We were two adults and two teenagers and we all agreed it was a memorable day. I highly recommend this tour and ask for Arturo, you will have a wonderful time.

Just Magical -Do Not Miss This Excursion - 2 adults and 4 children (8-14 years) We took 4 children ages 8-14 and 2 adults to the Dos Ojos plus 1 other Cenote and lunch excursion with our guide Alex and driver Omar. We were picked up from our Villa in Tulum in a nice van. All equipment was provided and in great condition, our guide Alex was with us every step of the way. He swam with our kids with a life ring and made us as parent feel very calm and relaxed. They fitted all the kids with the correct life jackets and snorkel gear. Each senote is different and special in its own way. The water was very nice and the temperature perfect. The trip lasted (from pic up to drop off) about 5 hours and was perfect for the kids. We had a great lunch at a local Mayan restaurant (food included) and did not feel rushed at all. Thank you to Alex and Omar for taking such good care of our children, we hope to see you all again.

From start to finish our top notch guide Joshua and expert driver Rodrigo made sure we were safe and happy. We enjoyed a completely stress free day that was action packed but so well organized that we never felt pressured to rush. Joshua is definitely a subject matter expert on the Mayan culture and we enjoyed learning about the history while we took great photos of the grounds in Tulum. The true show stealer for my family was Taak Bi Ha Cenote. A truly incredible experience we were blown away. A relaxing lunch followed by a snorkel in the turtle sanctuary in Akumal was a very nice ending to an amazing and hassle free day. Tip: start as early as you are able to beat the crowds and beat the heat.

Arturo was awesome! The cenote caves were a once in a lifetime experience. Pick up transport, guiding, lunch and return trip were all executed flawlessly. I recommend this group and this trip to everyone.
